Founded in May 1996 by David Einhorn, Greenlight Capital is a hedge fund that primarily focuses on investing in publicly traded North American corporate debt offerings and equities. The fund gained considerable attention for its successful short-selling of Lehman stock before Lehman Brothers’ collapse in 2008.
Green Light Capital located in New York City has consistently been considered one of the top-performing hedge funds in the industry. David Einhorn continues to manage the fund to this day.
